7 Things You Shouldn’t Miss at Further Future

7 Things You Shouldn’t Miss at Further Future

Only one week remains until some of the brightest minds in music, technology, gastronomy, and more converge at the second annual Further Future festival. Going way beyond the typical festival, this event highlights what’s next for all of us and our culture in a unique, immersive environment. Step outside your comfort zone and you’ll discover a wealth of knowledge offered nowhere else in the world. If you’re joining us in the desert, here are a few things we think you shouldn’t miss.

1. The ENVELOP Satellite Project.
3D sound has been high on our wishlist of things to experience for several years, and the ENVELOP team is giving us the chance to do so at FF. Their space will host speakers, musical performances, yoga sessions, and more throughout the 3 days.

2. Low Leaf‘s Sunrise Set.
Further Future’s lineup is full of hidden gems like Low Leaf, a Filipino artist who keeps spirituality at the forefront of her mesmerizing compositions. Catch her with a full band at sunrise on Sunday.

richieeeeeeeeee3. ENTER:Sake.
For those of us not lucky enough to have made it to the White Isle to try techno titan Richie Hawtin’s handcrafted brand of sake, our time is now! Not only can we sip on the traditionally-made beverage, but their pop-up will feature special guest performances!

4. Micro-Activations at the Wellness Tent
The Wellness Tent has a wide range of tools to help you detox, recharge, and become the best version of yourself. Their entire schedule is great, but the half-hour micro-activations on Saturday and Sunday afternoon especially caught our eye (or was it our spirit?). Learn about alchemy, meditation, bio-tracking, functional medicine, and more from 2-4PM.

5. The Iconic Robot Heart Stage.
Dance the day-night-day away at the stacked lineup set to deliver next-level music at the Robot Heart stage. &Me, Matt Tolfrey, Lee Burridge, and Kimball Collins are just a few sets we don’t want to miss as we make new friends in front of the well-loved sound bus.

speakers6. How We’ll Listen Next: VR, AI, and The Future of Music.
Just like the rest of the festival, their list of panels is stacked full of innovative people we can’t wait to hear from. The one we absolutely can’t miss is about one of our favorite things to discuss, the Future of Music. Presented by FF founder Jason Swamy, this session will make predictions on what’s next for touring, composition, and more. Hear from 5 industry visionaries fom 3-4:15PM on Sunday.

7. The Vendor Village.
Even if you missed the chance to snag a spot at one of the incredible guest chef’s pop-up meals, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from at the 24-hour food & beverage vendor village, featuring munchies from the Intuitive Forager, Makers & Finders Coffee, Poutine Your Mouth, and many more.
