Movement Detroit: The Phase 1 Run Down

With winter’s cabin fever in full effect, thoughts of warmer days spent during one of the biggest weekends of the year in Detroit (and the country if you’re a techno fan!) are replaying in our heads. Movement Electronic Music Festival is celebrating their 10th year of music and dancing this May. And with only the first phase of artists released, this year’s festival is already feeling like the true Techno festival it started as. Even the trailer gives us goosebumps:

Movement’s line up is always outstanding, but for the anniversary they’re taking it through the roof, with artists traveling from across the globe to throw down here in Detroit.

The stages will once again be graced with Techno legends such as Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson, Juan Atkins and Moritz von Oswald. Some of the other highlighted acts are Get Real (Green Velvet and Claude VonStroke), J.Phlip, Maceo Plex, Seth Troxler, Stacey Pullen, tINI, Nina Kraviz, and Justin Martin, and that’s just the beginning.
