Transmit+ Conference Focuses on the Business Side of Arts & Music

TRANSMITLA-based production company TanZ Group presents the launch of TRANSMIT +, an arts & music conference that focuses on the business side of the creative industry. Taking place in Detroit on Saturday, August 28, the event aims to bring together artists, entrepreneurs and creatives to connect and collaborate on Detroit’s future. Attendees will gather for conversation, music, parties and art experiences with the ultimate goal of forging relationships that will help shape the future of this industry in Detroit. There will be four core sessions to the conference, focusing on hot topics in the industry, such as branding, licensing, business development and label management. The conference and performances will be held at the prestigious Detroit Institute of Music and Education (DIME) with support from partners Ponyride, Our/Detroit, Springboard, Dirtybird Records, Source Audio Systems, TownHall, The Alchemists Collective, Detroit Bikes and the Detroit Free Press.
